Dr Meizi Eliezer is Alpha Omega’s International Director of Continuing Education and President of the Tel Aviv Chapter, bringing decades of expertise and innovation in periodontics. A board-certified periodontist with a thriving practice in Herzliya, she is a recognised authority in gum health, periodontal surgery and advanced dental implantology.
Dr Eliezer earned her DMD at the Hebrew University Hadassah School of Dental Medicine in Jerusalem and an M.Sc. from Tel Aviv University, and completed her specialisation in periodontology and implant dentistry at the University of Bern, Switzerland. She is a European Federation of Periodontology–accredited specialist and serves as a senior periodontist at Witten/Herdecke University in Germany, where she lectures and trains residents.
With a focus on evidence-based care and current techniques, her professional interests include:
- Treatment of gum recession and advanced periodontal disease.
- Non-surgical and surgical periodontal therapy.
- Dental implant placement and complex case rehabilitation.
- Guided bone regeneration (GBR) ahead of implant placement.
As International Director of Continuing Education, Dr Eliezer plays a pivotal role in developing and promoting professional development programmes for dental practitioners worldwide. She is passionate about building a global community of excellence in which practitioners stay at the forefront of the field.
Beyond her clinical work, Dr Eliezer is committed to patient-centred care, emphasising long-term oral health and prevention. She speaks regularly at international dental conferences and contributes to dental publications, sharing her expertise to advance periodontics globally.
