Dr Shahar Blachash, a dedicated member of Alpha Omega since 1998, is a renowned dentist with over 20 years of experience in dental surgery, implantology and complex restorative procedures. A 2003 graduate of Semmelweis University in Budapest, he has been instrumental in promoting dental education and advancing implant dentistry, both in Israel and internationally.
Alpha Omega leadership
Dr Blachash’s journey with Alpha Omega began in 1998, when he established the first student chapter in Eastern Europe at Semmelweis University. After relocating to Israel in 2003, he became an active member of the Tel Aviv Chapter, where he has held several leadership roles:
- Treasurer of the Tel Aviv Chapter (2008–2010).
- President of the Tel Aviv Chapter (2010–2013).
- Regent of Israel (2020–present).
Through his leadership, Dr Blachash has played a pivotal role in strengthening the Alpha Omega community in Israel and fostering global connections within the organisation.
Professional achievements
Dr Blachash holds a diplomate from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), the world’s leading professional organisation in the field of dental implants. He has also served on the management team of the Israeli Association of Oral Implantology.
