Dr Vladi Dvoyris, DMD, MBA, FICD, is the International Communications Officer (2025–2027) of the Alpha Omega International Dental Society. A graduate of the Hebrew University (DMD, 2009) and the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology (MBA, 2012), he combines dentistry with leadership, innovation and technology to make an impact on the global dental community.
Roles in Alpha Omega
Dr Dvoyris has held numerous leadership roles within Alpha Omega, including:
- President of the Alpha Sigma Student Chapter (2008–2009).
- Secretary of the Tel Aviv Chapter (2010–2014).
- President of the Tel Aviv Chapter (2014–2017), during which he revitalised the chapter and attracted a new generation of young dentists.
- Regent of the Israeli AO chapters (2021–2023).
He is also a board member and treasurer of the Israel Association of Oral Implantology, and Vice-Regent of the Israel–Malta District of the International College of Dentists (ICD).
Innovation in dentistry
A leader in digital dentistry, Dr Dvoyris creates digital tools and platforms that advance dental care, improving both clinical outcomes and practice management. His research in oral implantology, dental education and healthcare management has been published in international journals, and he serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Dental Education (Wiley).
His recognitions include:
- The Adolf and Rumana Arav Award for outstanding research in oral medicine during dental school.
- Induction as a Fellow of the International College of Dentists (2021).
- Inclusion in the 2023 cohort of the Global Summits Doctor-to-Doctor Top 100 Dentists.
Military and public service
Dr Dvoyris completed a full tour of duty as a Dental Officer in the Israel Defense Forces, where he conducted research in medical education, e-learning and healthcare management in disaster and combat zones, resulting in several research articles and contributions to medical textbooks. He is a public speaker on innovation in dentistry and technology, and a speaker for the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office Bureau of Liaison.
Industry and advisory roles
Dr Dvoyris is Chief Information and Clinical Education Officer at Abracadabra, which is reshaping implant-supported restorations. He advises leading dental companies, including Dentsply Sirona and GSK, and has presented at international conferences across Israel, Europe, the United States, Russia and Asia. His involvement in the start-up ecosystem and in venture-policy research at Tel Aviv University’s Coller Institute of Venture reflects his commitment to advancing dental care through innovation and collaboration.
